Kalanchoe is a blooming succulent with clusters of flowers in a variety of colors. They have similar care to any other succulent plant. They like to dry out between waterings and they need bright light. They prefer warmer temperatures but can handle being in cooler temperatures for short periods of time (no lower than 45 degrees). Once it is finished blooming the plant can be kept until it blooms again!

If keeping your Mum plant indoors, give it bright indirect light throughout the whole day. If you put your Mum outdoors make sure it gets about five hours of bright light in the morning and then shade in the afternoon. Water when the top 1" of soil becomes dry. While it is blooming keep in 70-75 degree temperatures. To keep fresh, before selling, put your Mums in the floral cooler. This will keep the blooms tight, longer, so your customer will enjoy a longer bloom time. As the blooms die, remove the spent blooms to encurage more blooming!
African Violets are a herbaceous flowering plant available in many shades of purple, pink and bicolors. They have fleshy, pubescent foliage which is susceptible to rot if too humid or moist. For the best care water from the bottom of the plant (to keep water off the leaves and out of the crown of the plant) and keep in indirect light so the leaves don't burn. Many people have a hobby of collecting all colors of violets. If you are a collector beware of thrips. Violets are very susceptible to thrips and most times go unnoticed until they are out of control and taking over all the plants around them.

Available starting November 8th. This is a fun plant you get to watch grow and bloom! Let the soil dry between watering. Don't over soak the soil as this will cause rot. When watering don't water the top of the bulb that is above the soil line. Once the flowers fade cut the stem 1" above the top of the bulb. Our Amaryllis bulbs are double stem so you will have two bloom stems and sometimes you get lucky and a third stem will grow/bloom!
